Natasha will be returning to her hometown of Orangeburg, South Carolina to share the story of her new book, "A Sojourner's Truth: Choosing Freedom and Courage in a Divided World" on Saturday, November 24 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Thee Matriarch Bed & Breakfast, 1170 Fischer St., Orangeburg, SC 29115. Local entrepreneur, Rachelle Jamerson-Holmes, will host this “A Journey to Courageous Freedom” event and interview the author.
The book shares staples of Orangeburg's history like stories growing up surrounded by Claflin University and South Carolina State University, the Orangeburg Massacre, lessons from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School and Helen Sheffield Junior Federated Girls Club.
Books will be available for sale, and the event will include a book reading, Q&A with the author, book signing, and dessert reception. This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited so please RSVP to enter the drawing for a door prize.
